Former Seven Network reporter Nathan Templeton has died.
The 44-year-old was reported to have suffered a medical episode while walking his dog in Newtown, Geelong.
His early career included working as a sports presenter for Southern Cross Nightly News in Tasmania before joining Ten News in Melbourne.
He joined Seven in 2012 as the sports presenter for Seven News in Melbourne. He also reported for Seven’s Olympic Games coverage in 2016 and 2021 and for six years was a Melbourne correspondent for Sunrise.
His death is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
Nathan Templeton is survived by a wife and two sons.
