Graham McNeice, television producer and presenter, has died at age 76.

His career began as a 17-year-old calling races for radio station 2KA in Katoomba, then 2UE in Sydney.

He then moved to television, joining Network Ten as a sports reporter for Eyewitness News and coverage including the NSW rugby league and major events such as the Melbourne Cup, Olympic Games and Commonwealth Games.

With the emergence of the Aussat satellite in 1985, he was one of the pioneers at the new Club Superstation as a presenter and executive producer. The station was later merged with Alan Bond‘s Sky Channel, and McNeice continued prominently both on and off-screen with the channel as it evolved into Sky Racing.

He was later inducted into the Sky Racing Hall of Fame.

McNeice also worked as a successful television producer of documentaries, with credits including Crime Investigation Australia, Australian Families Of Crime, The Train: The Granville Rail Disaster, Your Shout: The Story of Australian Beer and the upcoming Seven Network documentary The Rise And Fall Of Kings Cross.
