Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) has announced that it has confirmed a two-year deal with Network Ten for program supply to its outlets in Regional Queensland, Regional Victoria and Southern NSW/ACT.

The deal will see SCA’s outlets in those markets switch from a Nine Network feed to Ten, including channels 10, 10 Bold, 10 Peach and 10 Shake, from 1 July 2021.

The move is in response to rival WIN in those markets taking over the Nine Network affiliation from the same date.

SCA confirms that its existing agreements with the Seven Network in the Tasmania, Darwin, Central/Remote and Spencer Gulf/Broken Hill markets remains in place until 30 June 2022.

From 1 August, SCA in Regional Queensland, Regional Victoria, Southern NSW/ACT and Spencer Gulf/Broken Hill will also launch a new channel, Sky News Regional, featuring programming from Sky News Australia and Fox Sports. The new channel replaces Sky News On WIN, which is soon to close.
