The Adelaide premiere of the Nine Network’s World War II drama series The Sullivans. Often acclaimed for its accurate portrayal of Melbourne in the 1940s, the series became a ratings hit and sold well overseas, clocking up over 1100 episodes over six years. The Adelaide debut of The Sullivans came one day after its debut in Sydney and Melbourne.
