Kath And Kim, the sitcom based on characters featured in sketch comedy shows Big Girls’ Blouse and Something Stupid, makes its debut on ABC. The series continues for three seasons and a telemovie on ABC before moving across to the Seven Network for one season in 2007.
The success of Kath And Kim led to a feature film and a US remake.
