Hello. My husband was Greg Laughlin, the boy in the first series of the Little People. He ended up being a very successful scientist, working on climate and the environment. Sadly he passed away last year, lost a battle with cancer.
I was wondering if the footage of this show was available still, in the archives? It would mean so much to me and our 14 year-old boy Oliver. Greg’s passing has broken our hearts and anything we can hold onto we will. I do have an original magazine with an article about the first show, it shows Colin and Greg, the before and after the big bang. Very funny. Please let me know if the actual show is available. I would do anything to get hold of it. Thank you.
Hi Helen. First of all, I am very sorry for your loss.
As for obtaining any footage of the program, any surviving footage might no longer be available. However I would suggest you try the National Film and Sound Archive in Canberra: http://www.nfsa.gov.au
