The Seven Network’s new digital channel 7TWO will be broadcast into Tasmania from December.
The island state’s Seven Network affiliate, Southern Cross Television, has announced that it will be carrying 7TWO from 1 December, one month after the channel’s launch on the mainland next Sunday.
Tasmania has one of the highest conversion rates to digital in Australia, with 70 per cent of surveyed households converted in the most recent government survey, largely due to the state’s third commercial channel, TDT, being broadcast exclusively in digital.

Its nice that we dont have to wait too long for Tasmania to get 7TWO, but I have to wonder why we have to wait at all.
But are they going to back date all the shows we miss in the mean time. Will we have to miss 3 or 4 episodes of Ugly Betty, Hereos and the like or is 7 going to broadcast theose from the beginning???
That sucks. We miss out a month of some of my favouite shows.
Is there any logic behind advertising Chris Tarrants Train series as coming soon on Sunday 12/5 when you’ve already started it on SATURDAY 11/5 ?
OR are you just idiots ?
Are you going to repeat the 1st show that you caused us to miss ?
