The 1993 movie Schindler’s List, based on the non-fiction novel Schindler’s Ark by Thomas Keneally, makes its local TV debut with a commercial-free screening on Seven.
Kerri-Anne Kennerley hosts Nine’s coverage of the opening of Sydney’s Star City casino, featuring performances by Tom Jones, Diana Ross and Michael Crawford.
With sports telecasts on Seven and Nine taking over the next day, weekday programs Eleven AM, What’s Cooking, Midday With Kerri-Anne and The Price Is Right finish up for 1997.
