Monday 20 September 1971 — MELBOURNE

The success of Beauty And The Beast for the Seven Network prompts the 0-10 Network to launch His And Hers, a panel show hosted by Sydney radio presenter John Laws and featuring Dita Cobb, Sue Becker and Bobo Faulkner.

The Melbourne debut of Brisbane-based game show Money Makers, marking the return to television of Philip Brady, was boasted as Australia’s first five-night-a-week prime time game show, with a top prize of $20,000.

ABC’s weekly interview program Monday Conference features guest Clyde Packer, executive of the Nine Network stations in Sydney and Melbourne and a member of the NSW Legislative Council. The appearance on Monday Conference comes just days after Nine celebrated 15 years of broadcasting.
