The first day includes an afternoon preview ahead of the live coverage of the opening ceremony and events including the women’s marathon. Seven continues to present an hour of highlights each night, culminating in live coverage of the men’s marathon, with Australia represented by Rob de Castella, on the last day of competition on 14 August 1983.
