The Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras parade is covered on commercial TV for the first time, with Network Ten screening a highlights package of the previous weekend’s event. Hosted by Tottie Goldsmith.

ABC had previously screened highlights of the annual parade from 1994 to 1996.
