I’m 51 years old. I used to watch your show , the super flying fun show. Brought. Back so many memories of the show. What a classic!!
I’m around the same age and have fond memories of the show…I still remember when Miss Marilyn announced that we had landed on the moon and the Russians had crashed so we (in Australia) won the race LOL
Many fond memories of time spent recording and appearing on many of the episodes on Super Flying Fun Show with my band Grand Junction in the 70’s with our mentor Smoky Dawson.
Some very funny interaction between us and Marty who was a real charactor when recording the weekly shows.
Would love to see some of those old clips again.
Marilyn has had a major stroke. She is in St Vincents hospital. She was a girl friend in the 60’s
Please tell her to get well soon
Sad to hear that she is sick, I will never forget that show I just loved it I was a definite loyal viewer
Hello Bruce, I have such fond memories of Marilyn and the cast and crew of SFFS when our band “The Magpies” had a spot in the early ’70’s (we were very much a “kid’s band”). We then went on to play alongside Marilyn at the various David Jones stores around Sydney during the following Christmas holidays providing music for kid’s fashion shows. I recall her taking me “under her wing” to help with commentary during those holidays. I was very much infatuated with everything about her and wishing at the time that I was 10 years older. I sincerely hope and pray she recovers from last week’s stroke.
Is she ok. I had a major crush on her during the 70s. I won some prizes on the show a few times.
She is urgently in a nursing home in Cronulla and is determined to get well.
Her long-time partner Jim died recently.
I made the Miss Marilyn egg on toast we got the piece of toast cut a hole in it the fry pan with the egg in it and flip it over still call of the Miss Marilyn super flying fun show egg on toast to this very day and I’m 56
Do u remember the song The Four Legged Friend that Smoky Dawson sang?
Many fond memories of time spent recording and appearing on various episodes with my band Grand Junction along with Smoky Dawson back in the seventies.
A lot of laughs with Marty who was a real character.
Am 55 and watched it before I went to school each morning.
I sent in a joke once and it made the big tooth laugh 3times and I got a bag of goodies:)
Hope Miss Marilyn is doing okay these days.
cheers
Watched it before school as well. I won on the zodiac wheel one morning when i missed it and found out from the kids at school.
I hope Miss Marilyn is ok these days. I won a Luna Park adventure on Miss Marilyn’s wheel. Never forgot this. Where is she now.
I’m 59 now and still have a crush on Marilyn mayo. I hope she is OK these days.

We won free “Big Macs” at some new chain of fast foods called McDonalds from the show. There was only one store in Victoria. Wow. Getting out of bed and getting to school after watching this show every day.
Hi Marilyn. What a long time we go back have not seen you for ages. Always think of you when I look at my wedding photos with you as one of my special bridesmaids. Lots of love Mary
Mary, will pass your message on to Marilyn, who is in St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst, having suffered a stroke two weeks ago. She is hoping to start rehab tomorrow in the facility across the road from the hospital. Best, Juliana (school friend)
I am 85 and,in those days,a wedding photographer and remember Marilyn walking over from the Chevron many years ago accompanied by an American who thought he was on a good thing but she had other ideas, opened her car door, climbed in then drove off leaving him standing there.

I wish her all the best after her stroke. I have had open heart surgery (quad bypass) 5 years ago and now all seems to be great!
Hope Marilyn is getting well again. It would be great if she could be told how fondly she is thought of by the kids of the 70’s. She was a beautiful lady and I send her my love.
So lovely to see all these wonderful comments about Miss Marilyn, I’m sure her daughter would love to hear all the stories about her mum, and the hearts her mum has touched as well. Lillian Lyons
I was one of the personalities who joined SFFS 1974-76 and have many fond memories of Ms Marilyn and crew. She was always very professional in every way. I recall one time when the crew wound forward the clock in anticipation for Wing Dings usual Monday morning stint with Marilyn who would say: “ and what did you do on the weekend” To which Wing Ding replied: “ just rooting around!” Well you should have seen the shocked look on Ms Marilyn’s face when the video was played back . Love and miss you. Cheers Marshall.
Watched before school from 6/71 until my teens. Marilyn was my first crush.
Can you please give us an update on how Marilyn is coming along?
Marshall of marshall’s portable music machine ?
Is that you ??
I too was one of Miss Marilyn’s greatest young fans. yes, a crush. but i think my dad also liked her as my Mum would get a bit snappy when Miss marilyn was on TV. Such great memories and a beautiful lady.
I found this page after a trip down memory lane brought me here. I was thinking about Miss Marilyn and how much I loved the show before school. Such great memories. I remember she was very pretty. I hope she’s doing ok. She and her family should know how fondly us kids of the 70’s remember her. She was a lovely part of school day mornings!
I remember all of those shows but the one I watched was when she hosted a late night movie show that featured horror movies. She would do the intro & a talk up midway. A beautiful lady & we’ll remembered
I remember the shows all in black & white
Super flying fun show
Owly school
The magic circle club
Commander strongarm show
Count down
Fat cat & friends
Skeeters cartoon corner
Romper room
Mid day wrestling on saturday
Yeah, remember all those as well as the Elvis movies on the weekends.
O remember miss marylin snd tgat odd older man called teddy eggnog? I loved emu and Marty. Godd bless them all. Except teddy.
In this day and age with the internet I thought I might be able find some SFFS episodes on YouTube but sadly no. I ate cornflakes every morning while glued to the TV. It sounds like I was not the only 8 year old in love with Miss Marilyn. So sad to read about her stroke in 2020. I wonder if anyone has an update.
