Sunday 20 January 1980 — MELBOURNE

The first day of ATV10 on the changeover from ATV0

The switch to ATV10 also marks the launch of the new-look Network Ten’s big budget soap opera Arcade. The series was a critical and ratings flop and was axed after six weeks.

Meanwhile, HSV7 launches the new sitcom Kingswood Country, a spin-off from the sketch comedy series The Naked Vicar Show.
