The play Murder Story, based on the real-life murder of a London policeman, stars John Ewart, Richard Meikle, Neva Carr Glyn, John Alden, Don Crosby, Deryck Barnes and Douglas Kelly.

The production was broadcast live two months earlier from ABN2, Sydney, and “kinescoped” for telecast in Melbourne on ABV2.
